history

A good corporate photo is about more than just technique. It starts with understanding who you are.

My name is Guillaume Galmiche. Before becoming a photographer, I had a Ph.D. in biology. Years of research, rigor, and teamwork. Then I grew weary of being confined to a lab. I left it all behind to devote myself to what truly inspired me: photography.

I’ve brought this unique background with me behind the camera. Methodology, observation, and the ability to adapt to very different environments—these are the skills I draw upon for every corporate assignment. And because I’ve worked in demanding environments myself, I understand your constraints without needing them explained to me twice.

My goal hasn't changed since the beginning: to ensure that the photo shoot isn't a burden. I want your employees to feel at ease, for the shoot to fit seamlessly into your organization, and for the final images to truly reflect who you are—without artifice or overacting.

Over the past seven years, I have worked with about a hundred companies in the Paris region—ranging from small and medium-sized businesses to large corporations—on projects involving portraits, employee directories, event coverage, seminars, and galas. Today, I am one of the leading corporate photographers in the Île-de-France region.

Why d this career?

There’s a line from the movie *Kodachrome* that sums up pretty well what drives me: “In the future, when they dig us up, they won’t find any photos. No trace of who we were or how we lived.” It’s not an obsession, but it’s what drives me. A well-composed photo is a record. For a company, it’s also a message sent to its customers, partners, and future talent: this is who we are, this is how we work.

That's what motivates me on every project. It's not just about delivering files—it's about producing images that will serve your organization for years to come.

My Values

Listening comes first. Every project begins with a conversation. I want to understand your business, your culture, and what you want to convey—even before I pick up a camera.

Discretion in the field. Whether I’m covering a story or taking portraits, my role is to capture reality, not to stage it. I work quickly and methodically, without disrupting your operations.

Reliability. Meeting deadlines, clear communication, delivery in 2 to 5 days. You know what to expect, and that’s often the first thing my clients notice.

Putting people first. Behind every portrait is a person who may not necessarily feel comfortable in front of a camera. My priority is to create an environment where they can feel at ease.

My other activities

I’m also a wedding photographer. It’s another world of emotions, but at its core, it’s the same job: building trust, capturing the moment, and telling a true story.

This dual role nourishes my sensibility. Planning weddings teaches me to anticipate and seek out emotion. Business, on the other hand, forces me to organize and focus on what’s essential. The two complement each other, always with the same high standards.
