Corporate portraits for Parallel (ex-Kiosk): A strong image for a growing startup

On March 13, 2025, I had the pleasure of accompanying the team of Parallel , a rapidly expanding startup in the healthcare sector, for a corporate photoshoot in Paris. Formerly known as Kiosk Medical , the team had just completed a major fundraising round and was preparing a series of press and digital communications to mark a major strategic shift.

A clear mission: professional portraits to assert their image

Parallel contacted me with a view to carrying out:

• 5 individual portraits of each team member,
• 2 group photos ,
• with optimized delivery for their website, LinkedIn and online press.

The brief was simple but strategic: showcase the team members in a natural, bright, professional style , consistent with the startup's values. The portraits were taken in their offices located on rue Vivienne in the 2nd arrondissement , and the group photo was taken under the columns of the Palais Royal—an elegant and timeless Parisian setting, perfect for their image.

A strategic turning point and strong press visibility

At the time of the shoot, the startup was finalizing its $3.5 million fundraising round , led by Frst and supported by Y Combinator, Kima Ventures, Bpifrance , and other tech investors. This announcement was then relayed in the press (including Forbes and Maddyness ) and on LinkedIn , where several of my photos were published to illustrate the articles.

This project therefore had a particular resonance: it was not just about providing corporate photos, but about creating the visuals that would convey their image in the media, among investors and their entire ecosystem.

The portraits delivered are sober, coherent, and authentic. They reflect the team's energy, its complementarity, and its commitment to putting technology at the service of hospitals. Like the Parallel project, which aims to automate time-consuming tasks in healthcare facilities, every detail of this shoot was designed to inspire efficiency, modernity, and credibility .
