Event photographer in Paris: a look back at Meltwater's AI Business Breakfast

On May 15, 2025, I had the pleasure of covering an inspiring morning event in the heart of Paris: the AI Business Breakfast organized by Meltwater. A gathering that brought together some sixty marketing and communications professionals around a central question: are we ready for AI in our businesses?

Mademoiselle Mouche: a unique setting for a networking moment rich in exchanges

The event was held at Mademoiselle Mouche, an iconic rooftop on the Seine, at the foot of the Pont de l'Alma. The venue offers a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower, in a "jungle chic" atmosphere blending lush vegetation and contemporary design. With its modular indoor and outdoor spaces, Mademoiselle Mouche is ideal for hosting business events all year round, offering a friendly yet inspiring atmosphere.

From the very first minutes, the atmosphere was both relaxed and studious: over a coffee or croissant, exchanges between peers went well.

My role as event photographer was to capture those networking moments, those glances, those gestures that convey interest and commitment.

Three experts, one theme: AI in marketing and communication

The morning was punctuated by a round-table discussion featuring three high-level speakers:

🎙️ Erick Schneider (Havas Paris)

🎙️ Alexandre Barlot (Radio France)

🎙️ Arnould Moyne (Meltwater)

As a photographer, it's always an interesting exercise to capture the highlights of these events: the speeches, the audience's reactions, the dynamic exchanges. Through my images, I seek to highlight the energy of the speakers and the quality of the participants' listening.

Discussions focused on concrete use cases for generative AI, its limits, and above all its implications for the marketing and PR professions. Special mention went to the presentation of MIRA, the conversational agent developed by Meltwater, capable of exploiting their data lake in real time to generate useful insights.

Photographing a corporate event means telling a story

My approach to corporate photography is to document the event in a natural way, highlighting both human interaction and the setting. During this Business Breakfast, I focused my report on three areas:

  • Key moments of the conference
  • Informal exchanges between participants
  • The general atmosphere of the place and breakfast

If you're organizing a professional event in the near future (conference, seminar, product launch or business breakfast), I'd be delighted to help you keep a faithful, high-impact visual record of it.
